The main function of Silicagel E is to keep products dry. This desiccant is especially used for drying food, pharmaceutical, electronic, export packaging, steel and also in chemical laboratories.

This desiccant silica gel is composed of semi-transparent white spherical beads, which facilitate better ventilation. Without color indicator.

Silica gel E acts as a water absorber, mainly in the dry range (0 - 40% RH)

Thanks to its composition and its spherical shape allowing better ventilation, Silica gel E is used for drying and is suitable when silica gel is to be used in a layer thickness of more than 2cm. 

It can be regenerated multiple times, even more than 10 times, by heating for 3 hours at temperatures between 130°C and 150°C and is NON-toxic, according to current EU legislation.
