It is a moisture absorbent bag and anti-odor bag at the same time, acting as an odor neutralizer and moisture desiccant, This absorbent uses a permeable fabric bag that allows the absorption of water vapor inside the bag itself.

Clay and activated carbon desiccant bag, moisture absorber and odour neutraliser

Propasecarbon odour neutralising absorbent bags contain 50% natural clay, bentonite, and 50% activated carbon. In this way, it has the dual function of absorbing excess humidity and bad smells. Its absorption capacity is 9 +/- 2 % of its own weight at an air temperature of about 23 +/- 2 ºC and a relative humidity of 40%. The contents of the desiccant bags are packaged in a permeable fabric bag that allows the absorption of water vapour within the bag itself.

The desiccant material is natural clay, calcium bentonite. A 10% solution has a pH of 3.5 - 8.5, a conductivity of < 0.3 S/m, a particle size of 0.25 - 6.3 mm, with a solubility of < 2% and residual moisture of < 2%.

The odour absorbing material is a coconut nut charcoal activated with water vapour by a physical process. The activated carbon has an iodine value of min. 1050 mg/g and a methylene blue value of min. 13 ml/0,1 g.

The activated carbon clay desiccant bags can be manufactured in different sizes and weights depending on the final application.
