The MAG SHOCK 2000 impact indicator is a cheap, resettable, and reusable Shockwatch tool made to regulate the handling of delicate goods and freight containers weighing more than 225 kg. The gadget is also frequently employed in rail carriages and truck fleets to monitor excessive impacts during humping or hitching.
Two calibrated, extremely sensitive magnets are used by the MAG 2000 shock indicator. The magnets get out of alignment when a collision occurs outside of tolerance, clearly indicating the angle and force of the hit. To open the MAG 2000 impact indicator lid, a key is provided from 12 MAG 2000 units of unique design.
