If this Shocklog Cellular impact recorder exceeds the programmed impact level, a detailed event curve is recorded, alerting and informing of the situation. This device helps to pinpoint the exact time and location where a potentially damaging impact has occurred. 

Wherever cellular phone service is available, the ShockLog Cellular impact logger, which adds cellular connectivity to the ShockLog 298 impact logger, sends you a text message or email whenever an impact exceeds pre-set criteria. In addition, because this impact logger incorporates a unique piezoelectric accelerometer, it can determine the direction and velocity of contact along the X, Y and Z axes. This allows it to determine, for example, whether an impact has occurred in a danger zone or whether the object was ripped from a truck or struck by a forklift truck.
