ArtSorb Cassette Moisture Stabilizer is a silica gel to stabilize the relative humidity (RH) in the range 65% - 75% in museum showcases or other storage spaces for delicate objects, highly sensitive to moisture.
Supplied preconditioned for the individual humidity level you need.
Available in two sizes:
ARTSORB cassette 400 gr Stabilizes RH in museum showcases (1 m³ requires 2-6 small cassettes)
ARTSORB cassette 750 gr Stabilizes RH in museum showcases (1 m³ requires 1-3 cassettes)

ARTSORB is a silica gel to stabilize the relative humidity in museum showcases recommended for very high conditioning (65% - 75% RH). Contains lithium chloride.
ARTSORB cassettes are comfortable, easy to handle, replace and recondition. Due to slow decomposition of the ARTSORB material, the conditioning value of the cassettes gradually shifts upwards with the same weight, typically 1% RH / year. After a few years of use, the conditioning value should be verified by an accurate hygrometer.
For lower conditioning, we recomend to use ProSorb cassettes: they have a better uptake capacity, free of lithium chloride, and they are especially effective within the range of 30 - 60% RH.
