Desiccant sachet of molecular sieve. For environments with lower relative humidity and high-speed dewatering environments.
The molecular sieve is an aluminosilicate, moisture absorber. With an effective pore opening of about 4 Angstroms, its usual formula is Na2O.Al2O3.2Sio2.nH2O.
This desiccant works at high speed and creates environments with lower relative humidity. Another characteristic is that unlike silica gel, the molecular sieve retains the absorbed water and does not expel it in case of saturation or extreme conditions.
Molecular sieve is generally used to dewater and purify hydrocarbon fluids: natural gas, air, atmospheric gases, etc.
